The eMedia Catalog is the central product data catalogue of the music and entertainment industry. Manufacturers and distributors register their titles once, with cover art, track listing and audio samples. Retailers search more than 1.5 million verified items and order directly if they want to. One source instead of many separate lists.
Since 2017 we have been developing the eMedia Catalog together with the team at Phononet. We are moving the grown import pipeline to Java step by step, while it stays in production. In the web application we extend the processes manufacturers and distributors use to maintain the catalogue and retailers use to search and order. We helped build the integration with the Amazon Selling Partner API, which is live today. The catalogue keeps running. Even while we rebuild it.
